While you are waiting with baited breath, consider going over to Amazon or Barnes and Noble or whatever online store you habituate, and write a review of your favorite book. While you're there, consider reviewing one of mine at the same time.
Readers may not bother with reviews, but they change the algorithm to make them more visible.

I've finished editing the first 100 pages of the sekrit project. This is a world I love with characters close to my heart and I am very happy to work with them again. Today I get to dive in and add new words. This is officially the muddle in the middle but I'm excited to be moving forward.
Good bye internet--for today. I have real work to do.
First Contact Cafe anthology here I come! Then it's the super sekrit private project I've been dying to write for years even though it had no market until... maybe next year.
Nothing like a day in the Gorge--Traffic was bad and crowds difficult, but favorite falls were empty and open--to put life in perspective and jump start the brain for writing

So I finished the rough draft of a big novel. To completely reset my brain I wrote a short story. That's hard work. Draft done. Tweak it today. Move on to something else tomorrow

But the heat is descending. I think I need a walk before I tackle the WIP. After revising my second cozy mystery I have to make the leap back into the mind of Madame Magdala and Steampunk. A bit disorienting. But down to the last 10K words or so and I want this book done.
When I looked at the title of this post, all I could see was RIP. Well the scene I thought might kill me is revised and I've moved on. Almost on schedule with the second mystery in my cozy series, "Whistling River Lodge Mysteries."

So to catch you up, I am now past the mid point of the WIP and closing in on the last quarter. This book is going to be short. But then my first drafts are always short, incomplete, out of order, and UGLY. This one is no exception.
